Olek Teonidis, CFA
Olek is responsible for transactions as well as oversight of portfolio companies of the Fund II. He played major role in setting up and developing a number of Fund II PE transactions and club deals. He has over 10 years of experience in financial services, including investment banking, management consultancy, post-merger integration, and strategic planning for financial institutions. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Olek worked in senior positions at Renaissance Capital and Allianz/ROSNO as well as founding Leadway Capital. He has led many M&A transactions in various sectors including: insurance and banqueassurance (11 deals, including 3 deals for Allianz SE); banking (Delta Credit); debt collectors (FCB and NRS deals); E-Marketplace (B2B Center); outdoor advertisement (Gallery); and medical (EMC and Medexpress). In addition, Olek executed many management consultancy projects in financial sector. Olek is a CFA charterholder.
Vadim is in charge of business development at Da Vinci Capital. He has been leading marketing and IR functions since the company’s incorporation. Mr Botchkarev played a fundamental role in setting up and developing a number of PE structures and club deals. He has been recently named CEO of the managing partner of Da Vinci Pre-IPO Fund. His experience in these areas stems from the family business, where he initialized and developed a number of international projects in the construction and equine businesses in Russia, Middle East and the USA. Mr. Botchkarev holds a BS Degree in Business Economics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Arthur is responsible for deal sourcing and deal execution at DVC. He also leads business development of Fund II and Fund I portfolio companies, including fundraising and M&A. Arthur has over 10 years of experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital industry. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, he was responsible for deal origination and execution at New Russia Growth (NRG) Private Equity, where he closed several transactions in the retail and e-commerce industries. Before NRG, Arthur worked at PPF Investments, where he executed several transactions in the finance, retail and mining industries, with a total value over USD 2 bln. Arthur started his professional career at the International Venture Fund, where he was responsible for evaluation of start-up ventures in Russia and the CIS. Arthur holds BA & MA degrees from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Maxim is responsible for projects and transactions at Da Vinci Capital in the financial technology sector as well as for transactions and development of Russian Exchange Holding, through which the investment in the Moscow Exchange was made. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital Maxim served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Finance in NP RTS as well as held senior positions at Moscow Exchange, RTS Exchange, RAO UES of Russia. As a managing director and board member of RTS Group he led the merger of RTS and MICEX Stock Exchange and was responsible for international development of RTS and Moscow Exchange including projects in Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Maxim also closed NP RTS acquisitions of Alor Bank, Moscow Exchange and Saint-Petersburg Exchange.
Igor is responsible for the development and oversight of several portfolio companies in Fund I and Fund II. He also develops the pipeline of new projects for Fund II. Igor joined Da Vinci Capital from Deloitte & Touche, where he worked for over five years in Corporate Finance Advisory, managing many M&A, valuation, equity- and debt-raising, and investment strategy projects across a wide range of industries. Igor has strong experience in working with large Russian and international companies and has a solid understanding of the financial and consumer sectors in Russia. He holds a double BSc diploma in Banking and Finance from the International College of Economics and Finance, a joint educational project of the London School of Economics and the Higher School of Economics.
Denis is responsible for the oversight of portfolio companies in Fund II and Fund I, analysis of investment opportunities and execution of deals for Fund II. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Denis worked at McKinsey, where he specialized in the financial institutions sector and was affiliated with the firm’s Global Financial Institutions Center. He was deeply involved in several projects in banking, insurance and asset management. Denis graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with a MA in Economics.
Tatyana is responsible for the analysis of the investment opportunities as well as management of the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Tatyana worked in the Investment Banking Department of Troika Dialog, where she was responsible for the financial analysis and financial modeling of the potential M&A targets in the Oil&Gas team. Tatyana graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with a Master’s Degree in Economics and is currently expecting her PhD.
Tatyana is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, analysis of potential targets, and fund reporting. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Tatyana has completed an internship in Alfa Bank Equity Research covering Consumer Retail and Real Estate and VC fund Frontier Ventures focused on Internet startups in Russia and South East Asia. Tatyana graduated from National Research University - Higher School of Economics with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Alexey is responsible for the analysis of the pipeline of new projects for Fund II as well as for oversight of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Alexey worked in the Investment Banking boutique Aspring Capital, Valuation & Business modeling department of EY and in the Oil&Gas team of Loan department of Sberbank CIB. Alexey graduated from National Research University - Higher School of Economics with a Master’s Degree in Finance.
Dmitry has over 20 years of experience in financial and day-to-day management in various industries, including pharmaceuticals wholesale and retail chain arrangements in various market sectors on the federal level. As a CFO and a member of the Board, he actively participated in developing one of the major Russian pharmaceutical companies - CJSC ROSTA. Dmitry was also involved in structural reforms of various market sectors, including, inter alia, retail, telecommunications, investments, and stock exchange trading. At various times he managed Finance and Аccounting departments of major Russian companies. Graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 1994.
Senior Financial Analyst
Yunona is responsible for financial and management reporting, budgeting and analysis of financial activity of Da Vinci Capital group, including control of financial and management reporting of Funds. After graduating from Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation as a Bachelor in Economics she started her career as an auditor in KPMG where she was involved in audit of key players in various markets among which are industrial, consumer goods, construction and development, real estate, energy, oil and gas. Yunona is currently studying towards ACCA qualification (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) since 2014 to become a certified accountant.
Chief Administration Officer
Irina has over 16 years of hands-on experience in financial management, operations, and administration with World Bank and EBRD projects. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Irina served as Deputy Director in Finance and Administration in the World Bank’s implementation agency for the Russian stock market development. Irina has completed extensive training in project management/finance and has MS degrees in Physics and Economics.
Senior Vice President
Alexander is responsible for government relations and integrity due diligence. He has more than 15 years of international relations experience, including multiple years of work at Russian embassy in the USA. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital Alexander worked at senior positions in government and public organizations, including banking and energy sectors.
