Eric Maillebiau
Managing Director, Business DevelopmentEric is in charge of business development and operations for the Da Vinci Capital Group companies. He has 15 years of banking and investment management experience in Russia and other emerging markets. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Eric was the founding partner of CapEos, an advisory boutique focusing on attracting institutional funding to Russia and other CEE countries. Before founding CapEos, he was the head of AIGGRE office in Moscow, from where he was leading AIGGRE investments in Russia and the CIS. Prior to AIGGRE, Eric was a senior banker in the Property & Tourism team at EBRD, with which he held postings in London, Moscow and St Petersburg, and led transactions over the entire CEE region. Throughout his career in investment banking, Eric closed transactions totaling over $700m. He holds a PhD in Transportation Economics from UC Berkeley, a Master in Mathematical Economics from Toulouse School of Economics and is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, Paris.
David Clark
DirectorDavid is a Director of Da Vinci Capital Management Ltd, a licensed investment management company based in Guernsey. He also serves as the Executive Director and Group Treasurer with responsibility for the BSG Group offices in Guernsey. Prior to this appointment he was State Treasurer and Chief Officer of the Treasury and Resources Department in the Government of Guernsey. As such he was the senior finance and economic advisor to the Government. Before joining the Civil Service in Guernsey in 1993 he had a successful career in the accounting and audit profession in both Guernsey and the United Kingdom, working with the major chartered accountant practices of KPMG and Deloitte. David qualified as an ACA in 1987.
Irina Sidorenko
Manager, Operations and AdministrationMrs. Sidorenko has over 16 years of hands-on experience in financial management and administration with the World Bank and EBRD projects. She has been instrumental in administrative development at Da Vinci Capital from the company’s first day. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital Mrs. Sidorenko served as Deputy Director in Finance and Administration in the World Bank’s implementation agency for the Russian stock market development. Irina has completed extensive training in project management/finance and has MS degrees in Physics and Economics.
Svetlana Kalininskaya
DirectorSvetlana is responsible for developing portfolio companies and structuring exit deals. She has more than 10 years of portfolio management and strategy development experience in leadings consulting companies. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Svetlana was Senior Associate of McKinsey&Company, where she was engaged in multitask activities, including sales stimulation for a Russian Retail bank, project management strategy for a private banking and asset management division of a leading European universal bank and post-merger integration management for a leading French financial and investment bank. Prior to McKinsey&Company, Svetlana worked at BART Media advertising agency, where she executed MBO of a media company and converted it into full-service Advertising Agency. Svetlana holds Master of Business Administration (MBA Programme) with INSEAD, Master’s degree at Financial Management/ Concentration in Mergers and Acquisitions. She also has a diploma from International Economic Relations, MGIMO.
Alexander Varennya
Senior Vice PresidentAlexander is responsible for government relations and integrity due diligence. He has more than 15 years of international relations experience, including multiple years of work at Russian embassy in the USA. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital Alexander worked at senior positions in government and public organizations, including banking and energy sectors.
Vadim Botchkarev
Vice PresidentVadim leads IR and Marketing at Da Vinci Capital from the launch of the company. He is also involved in selected business development projects and in creating investment structures. His experience in these areas stems from his fundamental role in the family business, where he initialized and developed a number of international projects in the construction and equine businesses. He has successfully completed a 6 month Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) program that was supervised by the US Department of Commerce at a privately owned multi-business operation in North America. Mr. Botchkarev also holds a BS Degree in Business Economics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Dmitry Frolov
Director, Financial ManagementDmitry is a Director responsible for anti crisis project management of portfolio companies. He is closely working with Imperia Detstva and GameZona, investments from PSGF portfolio, where he is in charge of cost cutting, debt restructuring and business development. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, he was the General Director of Central Offices, the one of the top serviced offices operators on the Russian market. He was involved in launching and development of office real estate management project, structuring of the group of companies foundation (Russian-British partnership), participating in negotiations with the landlords (Class A Business Centers) and working on contractual documentation with law firms. Prior to Central Offices, Dmitry was working in Rossib, the third largest pharmaceutical distributor in Russia, as Finance Director and was responsible for financial management and development. Dmitry holds ÌÂÀ degree in Finance from Financial management Higher school, National Economy Academy of Russian Government.
